If you are attending one of our events at Temperance for the first time, here is some information you might find useful. Our venue is in the basement of an old regency building in Leamington Spa. We are open as a café and art gallery seven days a week from 9am-7pm and open many evenings for music, comedy, story-telling
and other events. Bar is open after events until 10.30 pm but usually we close earlier.
Getting here by car
Our address is 33 Bath Street, Leamington CV31 3AF. There is free parking outside on Regent Place from 7pm, or on Russell Terrace (and roads around) from 6pm. There is also a cheap car park around 100m away on Packington Place.
Getting here by train
We are 5mins walk away from Leamington Spa railway station.
Concert timings
We are open all day for drinks, food and snacks, but doors to the basement open at 19:00, with music starting at 19:30 (afternoon concerts are 14:00 doors and 14:30 music).

Seating
There are 50/55 comfortable seats in the venue. The seats are tiered so people at the sides and back can get a good view. Seats aren’t reserved so get here in plenty of time if you want to sit together as a group. It is a fantastic intimate space with a fabulous sound system, so you are in for a treat!
Access
We are in an old building and wheelchair access is limited (to the venue and upstairs to the toilet). Access to the venue is down about 12 stairs. If you need help, let us know in advance if you can. We also screen our gigs (with good sound) in the side room and upstairs if you’d prefer to watch from there.
Bar
We have a fully licenced bar on the ground floor as you come in, open all day, so you are welcome to come early to get drinks and something to eat (food until 3pm). We have a good selection of local beers, wines, cider, cocktails and soft drinks. Our coffee is really good, and we have around 50 teas to choose from, and our cakes are amazing. You can pre-order interval drinks if you like but we wait for everyone to be served before starting.
Food
We have a vegetarian/vegan kitchen open until 3pm and occasionally run a pre-bookable pre-event supper club for a few evening gigs. There is an excellent Greek restaurant next door, a very good French place called Eleven and plenty of good Indian restaurants around. All 2 mins away.

Accommodation
If you are staying overnight, there are cheap places around. TJ’s is clean and close (above a bar a few doors away). And a Travelodge and Premier Inn is fairly close too and good value.
We look forward to welcoming you here!
